Half door fitment

Can anyone help answer this question? Will my 1997 TJ half doors fit all 1997-2006 wrangler tj models? I've been told they won't fit all years, was there a body size change I missed? ( not talking about LJ)

They should all fit, TJ or LJ doesn't matter

i'm going to say... I'm 99.9% sure they'll fit

TJ is a TJ and i believe even the door on the LJ is the same as TJ

That's what I thought. I have a guy interested in my doors but he said the 1997-2003 won't fit 2004-2005.... So I figured I'd ask everyone's opinion. Just want to make sure who ever I sell them too is happy and they fit properly.

Meet up and put them on for him, best way to prove it unless you guys are that far apart. (In distance)

All TJ doors are the same. The mirrors vary but that's it.

All fit as long as 97-06 TJ. The YJ 95 and prior will not just fit

Only differences beyond mirror change that I am aware of are different colors on plastic interior panels ( drakness of gray changed ) and size of key lock cylinder but as long as it is a complete door full or half it should slide right on hinges and fit and close and lock normally just don't count on easy exchange of lock cylinders but any year cylinder is easy to repin to match your current key

In some cases the hinges may have to be adjusted. So make sure they fit before repaint or you'll repaint again.
