Hey guys! Looking for some Electrical advice here!
So I purchased some Oracle 7" sealed beam blue halo headlights and I was looking to wire the blue halos to a switch on the dash of my jeep. Oracle recommends you just wire them into the running/ parking lights but I would rather not run the risk of getting pulled over and recieving a ticket for having the blue colored LED's
I'd rather just be able to turn them on and off as I please with a single switch on my dash.
I've tried contacting and emailing Oracle's tech department looking for some help multiple times with no answers.
The passenger side headlight has a little red colored box that's wired to it while the drivers side just has the two wires.
Any chance someone with some electrical experience could give me some recommendations??
Thanks guys!!!

I don't have any experience with this exact issue but it sounds it is pretty similar to basic wiring of external lights. First find which wire is power and which is ground. If is just the two wires then you will have to splice a third wire into the power wire to run it through a switch. Since they are LED halos you SHOULDN'T need a relay because it shouldn't draw too much power to be able to run it directly through the switch. Going this route, find a good ground for the ground wire. Then run the power wire from the lights, through a switch, then to the battery. This will allow it to have constant power so even if the Jeep isn't on, you can still flip the switch to turn on the halos. Finally, you will most likely have to ground the switch too but that is very simple. Don't quote me on this directly, but this should be a general, and pretty easy process.
Here is a diagram from KC that is a little bit more in depth than you will probably require but it is generally pretty similar.
