I did a search and there was some reference to this problem, but I have a different issue/question.
I have a 97 TJ with a 4" lift. As far as I can tell, there has been nothing done such as a TC drop, etc.
It had always been a little tough going into 2nd and 4th; with 2nd being the hardest. Especially when cold. But manageable.
I recently had a clutch replacement done and now the problem has worsened.
Should things have not bolted up as they did prior?
I am going to take it back to the mechanic but wanted to get ideas/opinions on here prior to doing so.
I realize I can change shifter boots, etc, or cut around the tub.
My question is what would have made it gotten worse.
Thanks
