Hard starting...

It takes my 1998 4banger about 8 or so turn overs to get her started cold or not. Is there anything I should replace such as sparkplugs to have her start easier? Opinions?

If it is a fast crank (i.e. battery ok) then make sure you have good fuel pressure coming in to the engine.

But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. James 3:17 (KJV)

Try turning the key to the inn position but not starting it, let it sit there a few seconds then attempt to start. This allows the fuel pump to start running before you attempt to fire it up.
