hardtop wiring

Have a 04 TJ, bought a Mopar top from a 2000 TJ. My 04 does not have the wiring at the left rear of the tub. The top has wiper, defrost and washer. How can I wire this up?

there's a kit that includes the switches, harness, and windshield washer tank.

I did the same thing except the top was a later one and the jeep was a 2000. I had to get the wire loom assy. for the 2000 and another one for the same year as the top and cut and swap the plug on the end so it would fit the top. The wire loom for the 2000 jeep and the wire loom for a later one are not the same and won't interchange. The wire looms are expensive and the job of installing the wire loom are a pain.

I have an 04 TJ with an 06 hardtop that I got for free.
I honestly have not even looked into wiring it up, maybe because I live in Florida and don't feel I need the defrost or wiper.
Nonetheless though I'm gonna go have a look and see if there's any existing wiring on the beast.

jeepsareus.com sells the wiring kit. You need to get the kit for the 03+ so it will wire up to your dash. The plug on the 00 top is different. They also seel the adaptor to make the plug connection. I installed the kit last year.

You'd know if you had it. The switches would be on the dash and the harness will be right at the back of the tub.
