Does anyone know what voltage the defrost switch is supposed to see?
I pulled the connector from the back of the switch and it looks like 4.75 V is making it to the switch. If this is the proper voltage then my switch is probably bad. If the switch is supposed to get a different voltage then I have another problem.
The switch pulls power from the instrument cluster apparently. There are wires in the harness that get hooked up to connectors on the back of the cluster. There is also a relay & fuse in the under-hood fusebox.
