I am planning to upgrade my Gears from 3.73 to 4.11 and am getting a good price on Nitro Gears, but have never heard of them before.
Is anyone using them ?

they get pretty great reviews

whats your tire size and trans? going from 3.73 to 4.11 isnt much of a change and most wouldnt see it as being worth the cost

He also asked your transmission type to insure 4.11 is the right choice. 4.11 is not always the right choice for 33" tires, what engine and transmission do you have?

4.11 would be ok for 33's and your 6-speed. Brand of gear-wise, I'd go with the brand of gear the shop likes who will be installing them and have them provide ALL of the parts. That way they will warranty both the parts and labor instead of just the labor as would happen if you provided the gears.

Hi Jerry, here in this part of the world its a rippoff in terms of pricing. Hence i plan to buy the needed hardware on my next visit to the USA. As an example locally they have quoted me $1700 for G2 ring & pinion only + labor.

Since you're buying the gears yourself, I'd get them from Revolution Gear and Axle Offers the Precision Quality Ring and Pinions who doesn't source their gears from multiple gear manufacturers as most do.

But I know of no R&P gears commonly used in our Dana axles that specifically have a bad reputation... Nitro, Yukon, etc. are fine. Spicer would be an excellent choice in addition to the RGA gears. Those would be my top two choices.

I've had Nitro gears for a couple years now, set them up myself, zero issues. I would use them again.
