I replaced the brake lights/parking lights to LED and was forced to replace my flasher unit with one for LED lights. My turn signals work fine, but I am unable to use my 4-way flashers (hazard lights). I have been unable to find a fuse, relay, or a flasher unit that is for the hazards. Anyone have any suggestions? It is very possible that I just missed it and need a little help figuring it out.
I have the exact same problem and can't figure it out, either! I checked all over on line and the flasher they gave me with the Quadratec tail lights is the correct one. I would like to resolve this as well.
Have you been able to figure out a problem? I think I know the problem but have no idea how to fix it. The problem is that there is no flasher unit for the hazard lights, but it is a combination flasher unit that works for both the turn signals and the hazards. How to fix it, however, is a whole other story. The only way that I can think to fix it is to put the stock flasher in and put in a resistor into the rear lights in order to take up all the current that is being pushed back there so the lights don't flash quickly.
this is what I have found at O'Riellys and I think doing this instead of changing the flasher unit would fix it.
