Headlight buzzer

Ok go ahead make fun of me! For the second time time week I have left the lights on in the 98 wrangler. Does this have a headlight warning buzzer that is not working? Anyone with a method to make a buzzer?

Should beep, unless it's broken or has been disabled.

Does your dome light or footwell lights illuminate when your doors are open?

Domelight works - never noticed a footwell light.

did your battery die? my '05 shuts the headlights off a few mins after the jeep is off. if you leave them on the jeep should make a loud "BEEEEP" when the door opens, unless the fuse has been removed.

Nope it doesn't beep. I wouldn't be suprised if the PO disabled it. He had removed the horn fuse also *crazy*

I was asking about the domelight b/c if the "doors off" fuse was removed then the headlight buzzer won't work either. I don't know if all models have a footwell light, so don't worry. Not sure if the headlight buzzer works on a second fuse (separate from the dome light).
But yes, a properly working 98 (like mine) will have a fast beep if key is out, doors are open, and headlights are on with no fuses removed or blown.

if the fuse for the door pins is pulled or the door pins themselves are pulled the buzzer for the headlights wont work. I found that out after pulling my pins and left the light on at work...lol

If it were me, I would just work on remembering to turn them off. Once you have needed to jump start your Jeep enough times, you'll soon get in the habit of shutting them off without need for external help. Kind of like remembering to brush your teeth in the morning.
