Heat and A/C controls (fan speed switch)

Kindle Ford Jeep in south Jersey will not sell me the fan speed switch for my 97 TJ, they said I had to buy the whole cluster/console. WTF? And get this, they won't sell me O-rings to mount my new power steering box, that I would have to buy the 2 lines and the o-rings would come with those. Damn stealership!

The o-rings I got at a hydraulic shop, still looking for a fan speed switch though. Will check ebay/craigslist but wanted a new one. Thanks.

That's bs. I bought one at a California dealer about 6 months ago, $26.00. I heard it's a common part request (just the switch). You should also be able to find it online.

I bought one at my local dealer twice. remember to keep your receipt. as it has a 12 month warranty.

So yeah, its available by itself. and its like 20 bucks IIRC.

I can likely get you a part number if you want one. (assuming it didn't change by 2001) PM me if you want me to look for the receipt. I believe its in my console.

Thanks for the replies. I was on a mini vacation and stopped at a different dealer, had 1 in stock, sold individually. Problem solved. Thanks everyone for helping.
