Heat issues

Alright people. Bear with me. I know heat issues have been addressed a ton, but I'm looking for a specific answer from all you Jeep pros out there.
My 2004 Wrangler is blowing pathetic heat...it's freakin' cold up here in New England! I know what you're thinking,
Flush the heater core!
I'm glad I didn't waste my time. While reaching under the dash to feel if the motor for the blend door was moving, I realized something. 1. The motor was moving as I adjusted temp, and 2. ( this is my real question) I am getting screaming hot air at full cold on the temp knob, but barely warm air at full hot! What gives??
Thanks in advance for any help!
