The white moving knob is there and rotates half around.. No heat. It has to be something here because I've replaced the whole cooling system. All I see on the door from the outside is the white Knob attached to the cable that goes to the HVAC does anything else attach to the knob? And how would I take it apart?

You could try unhooking the cable and manually turn the blend door to see if you feel resisitance or change in the air temp. Those arms do tend to break. Difficult to get to the blend door unless you go the "heater treater blend door repair " route.

What is the details on this repair? I don't care about the cold side as I have no AC. If I could make it always hot that would be good too!

Another thing you can try for a test is to cover the fresh air intake on the hood. Use duct tape and cover it up and force it to circulate only air from inside.

So by putting the tape on what should I look for?
