Heater problems. Not Blowing Hot

1997 TJ 4.0
I remember in my YJ I could almost burn my had with the heat. Buy my TJ barely blows warm. I have done a radiator flush and the coolant level is correct. The normal operating temp of motor is a little below 210. Anyone know what temp the air should be coming out of the vents or what I can check next?

sounds like an air lock in the heater core .Did you remeber to have the heater turn to heat when you filled the radiator back up ? If not...... try again

This.
I would be willing to bet it's air in the heater core or some kinda of blockage in the line/core itself. Word of advice though, when you let it run with the cap off you will more than likely get a mess in the driveway.
If burping the system doesn't work you may want to look into the mechanicals (Blend air door, hvac controls, etc.)

Take the heater hoses off, from engine side, and flush water through the heater core in both directions. If you are careful you can use compressed air to finish clearing the core. connect one hose and slowly fill the core and then the rest of the system and bleed. Has worked every time in my shop. Remember to be gentle with the core.
