HELP just did something and forgot how it goes!!

I am in the middle if putting my banks monster exhaust in and I took the skid plate off the transfer case to get access to the bolts in the exhaust flange. I am ready to out the skidplate back on and I don't remember what was the front and back!! There is a notch well a space that is about a foot that is inset in the plate is this the front or back? Lol I need help ASAP! It matters because the spot where the trans mount mounts to(the 4 bolts) is angles in the skid plate.

Not sure what Jeep this is for, but on my 99 TJ, the bolt spacing for the three bolts that go into the frame on each side is different between the driver/passenger sides, so you can probably just match that up. The 4 bolts for the transfer case support should be a clue as well.

The frame mounting bolts on the skid taper in towards the front of the Jeep. Wider hole spread to the rear, narrow spread to the front

The inset goes to the rear. It curves around your muffler.

Just use your phone camera to take a few pics of stuff before you disassemble. I had to learn this the hard way. Oh crap how does this go back together!!!

You don't ever need to remember which way any of the TJ belly skids came off. They will only go back on one way due to the very noticeable taper the frame rails have.
