4.0 manual. Rebuilding, and I took it apart over 2 years ago. Im guessing, abs, cruise, and ac?? I dont have any of those........there is also another plug on the pass side towards the mid engine area by the firewall I cant figure. Guess I didnt take enough pics,,,thought I did
Passenger side connector by the firewall should be for the under hood light. Guessing the two 2 wire connectors could be for the windshield washer pump and temperature sensor on the thermostat's housing. The larger connector could be for the ABS pump whether present or not.
The one in your right hand goes to either the emissions or the cruise control. They will plug onto the either one so you have to count the pins in the cavities that are being used to know which is which. One uses 3 pins, the other uses 4.
Thanks guys. The passenger connector is closer to the oil filter. I can take a pic....the hood light is accounted for.
Im thinking the big one is for my nonexistant abs. the other two....dunno. Winshield pumps, and temp sensor, along with horns are accounted for. Im guessing these werent plugged in amd I didnt notice.
any other suggestions are appreciated. I want to start it for the first time today, but want to get this squared away first
Thanks for the help. It started right up, and runs super smooth. No engine light as of yet. ....so I guess the connectors weren't hooked up to anything when I took it apart a couple years ago.
Edit....only problem so far is the thermostat housing is leaking. I thought it was the water pump at first. Going to try a new housing,,,, the old one was pitted up pretty bad.
Good job on the engine rebuild, that it is running "super smooth" is great news!
