help..will this transfer case fit in my wrangler?

i have a 97 wrangler 4.0 5 spd. My case is Model 231 J with ratio 272. I dont know the spline though...i found this one for sale will it fit? thanks for your help.

XJ Cherokee transfer case NP 231 J in perfect working condition. Thoroughly tested before removal. Shifted flawlessly and made no noises. As with all of our Jeep parts this is guaranteed. It has a 23 spline input but is the longer input and will not fit in the automatic Cherokees. Will fit all 6 cylinder standard Cherokees 96-01.

4.0L (TJ and XJ) output shaft is 23 spline, 2.5L is 21 spline.
When you have a choice, buy American.
