so to me it sounds like it is starting to give him a little steering wheel wobble at 55

if it is death wobble he would most likely have to slow down or stop before the jeep stops shaking which will also scare the $#!*& out of you and he would probably have to change his pants after that
it sounds like you asked a question then answered your own question in your own post.

Tire wobble and death wobble are 2 completely different situations. Tires do not cause death wobble. They can wobble which will find the weak spot of your front end and point out your death wobble. But it is not the fix for it.

And a wobble at 45 is not the same wobble at 55. They are usually 2 different problems.

Yea. Where does he say his problem is not death wobble? I think we need a little more information from BDP119. You know what they say about making assumptions?

It did scare me the first time and I did slow down and it stopped. But it never did it as bad the next day. The first time was at night on my way to work and then again on the way home in the morning. Both times felt pretty bad. I thought the whole thing would fall apart.

That afternoon I tried it and it didn't wobble at all and later times maybe just a little. Like I said I think she was just mad at me for something. I took her out today for just some US time and maybe that will help.

ok i guess i was wrong about the death wobble. i have diagnosed it is the tires. but its not death wobble it felt like it when i got around 50, but its completely gone now. i rechecked all bolts on the lift just to make sure. track bar is good. it was a wobble in the wheel i was feeling, it just the tires moving around on the different aspects of the road. i have come to the conclusion these tires are not for me, i plan on buying a nice 33" all terrain. thanks for the help
