help with fog lights

i just found the problem i was having about the lights not working (i changed the fuse under the hood) when i changed it out the lights came on but i had no key in the ignition and the lights were on off (but the lights were on burning like the daylight). any suggestions? (i have an 01 anniversary edtion)

Are these factory lights or aftermarket? I would say check the switch, it might be wired hot and not need the key on .

yes they are the factory fog lights, i am clueless on this one. like i said i found the blown fuse - put in a new one and the lights came on, i went and looked at the place where you pull it out to turn them on on the turn signal tree and it was in the off position. no key no nothing for power. so i took the fuse out so the lights would go out and not drain the battery.

The 01 must be different than the 97 because mine are located on the center dash panel with a factory rocker switch.
