Help with shifter problem

I have an 05 TJ with an automatic transmission. As I was trying to go to work this morning, my jeep will not shift into gear. It feels like the shifter linkage came off but it appears to be connected. When I take it out of park, nothing happens in any gear. No sounds, movement, or anything. Does anyone know what could be the problem?

No I don't think it's electrical. It seems like the shifter linkage is broken or it came loose. But it appears to be connected still.
