help with starter in stall

first off where is the starter? i have a 2003 wrangler 2.4l manual......
also, how do i go about changing it? anything special?

Unplug the battery first, then remove the belt. It's near the oil filter on my 2002 2.5 liter. It should be shiny and look like a couple cylinders and there are 2 long bolts you'll need to remove.

It should be on your pass side, near exhaust pipe & oil filter.
Also you should be able to follow or see the red battery cable going to it as well.

If your able to reach them, disconnect both cables then remove bolts. It can sometimes be a pain trying to hold the starter with one hand and disconnecting the cables with the other.

it was on the driver side lol..... i guess they changed it with the 2.4l...... it was funny i was getting aggravated because i could not find it so i was about to get from under the jeep and by moving just 6 inches to the left it was right there staring at me lol..... i took it out in about ten minutes and i am getting the new today at three i cant wait to be driving it
