Help with this lift...

I'm doing my friends lift on his 97 TJ and it's been hell.

First off, I don't even know what I was thinking working on a 97 jeep with 150k on it thats been in upstate NY it's entire life. Every single nut in the frame for the T-case plate stripped out(Under no torque load at all, they practically fell out).

Anyways, this jeep was involved in a minor offroading accident and I think there is something that is still out of whack. The original lower control arm mount on the passenger side looks like it's been re-welded. Looking at the spring I can definitely see its arching like a backwards C. The bumpstop holder is almost touching the front of the spring.

I guess what my question is, am I doing something wrong (IE not adjusting the axle to go out far enough ) or is it the fault of the previous welder. If it's my fault, is there any way to get the passenger side of the axle to move towards the front of the vehicle slightly?

Thanks.
