ok if ya look at this pic, it might not show up right, but if you just open the picture with the whole undercarriage view you can see a clip off of the trackbar mount on the axle. its on the left hand side of the pic. I'm in the process of relocating my tracbar after going up 3" and the bolt and nut is stuck right on in there. the thread in the nut is locked, since i don't have a torch or welder its a pain in the butt to get out. the torx bit is stipped and i tried to drill through the bolt but my little cordless drill is too weak to make any progress. i've spoken with a shop and they're gonna try to get it off next thursday. my q is, how important is that clip? i just want to make sure they don't ruin the clip while they try to get the bolt and nut off.
The main reason for the clip is that its a very small space in there, sometimes hard to get a wrench in. Thus the clip not only has the treads for the bolts but also acts as a self tightener withthe clip part pushing on the metal box as to tighten the bolt down. You can get a new clip at the dealer for a few bucks if yours is toasted. Some adj track bars come with there own. I have run the RE track bar, it was fine for what I needed.

hahaha well since her laptop has crapped out, she was using mine last night to upload some pics while we were watching fam guy, i was studying econometrics and had her refresh the page every couple minutes, and then asked her to write that response.... i think she was annoyed with how many times i kept asking her to refresh the page, what do you think? for now, i've got the trackbar adjusted to its correct position on the axle mount. untill i do something bigger, or i can afford it, i'll just ride out this less than preferred route. thanks for the help and thoughts! now i get to align her up tomorrow!
