High Steer

Is anyone running a high steer or crossover steering system? Are there any major benefits other than getting your tie rod up higher?

Some claim to "fix" the toe-in so it doesn't have to be adjusted with different lifts... which I find hard to believe, and they all seem to claim to get rid of the dead spot in the steering.

On my currently stock TJ, there is a bit of play in the wheel going down the highway, but that seems to be there in every vehicle, right?

Thanks!
