Houston, I got a problem

The 4 bolts that hold the transmission (on the bottom of the skid plate), I snapped 2 of them. What do I do now?

No problem, simply replace the transmission mount that has the broken studs which is easily found and inexpensive to buy. The transmission mount is only held onto the bottom of transmission by four additional bolts you'll see once you remove the t-case skidplate.

Yup, shouldn't be much more than an hour start to finish to get another one in there.

That's not a catastrophic failure though. Don't be afraid to drive it to get a new mount.

You may have to go to the dealer since it is a newer mount. Ask the dealer for a discount on the price though since they'll quote full list price every time unless you push them to discount it.

Ok, thanks for the info. Im sure the dealer will charge me hefty, especially since my warranty is no longer on it. I really dont need to drive it for another 7 weeks, so Ill get around to it one of these weekends.
