How can i get the cigarette lighter to work with key off?

I hate that jeep thinks the cigarette lighter is not needed with key off. Is there a easy way to get it to work without the key? Or should I just add a second one and mount it on the side of the center console?

I picked up a power outlet and installed it on the side of the console just forward of the hand brake. There is a pair of spare power leads behind the glove box fastened to the upper right, and 1 of them is labeled unswitched. Worked out great

You can just rewire the power lead of the lighter and connect it to a constant 12v that's hooked to the radio.

Keep in mind that a cigarette lighter draws about 10 amps if I remember right, run a wire or connect to existing wire capable of the draw and be sure to fuse it. You probably are not wanting it for the lighter use but you never know what someone esle may do when you are not looking.
