How do I my remove lunchbox locker???

I need to get at the c-clip on my axel and I can't figure out how to remove the lunchbox locker???? I pulled out the big pin that goes in the middle of it and now I'm stuck???

Shove both axleshafts inward as far as they'll go which will expose the c-clips so they can be removed. Then the axleshafts can be slid out far enough so the lunchbox locker can be removed.
