its not too hard to do.

start by removing the defroster vent, it pops right off with the help of a flat head screwdriver. than remove the plastic panel under the steering column by taking off the two screws. now all you have to do is remove the screws on top of the cluster an under the cluster, and pull the cluster out.

I can't quite remember what all I covered in this thread
because it's been a while since I did the mod,
but you might give it a look through.
There's most likely stuff in here that will help you out.

the bulbs are a twist out style, they are brown and it takes just a half a turn to get them out.

what you can do is replace all of the lights with a different color. i'll try to find a link to the web site that sells the lights. i made all my gauges blue along with the lights behind the vent controls to match my head unit and sirius radio.

Ironically.....
one of the links for the LED's is posted right beneath the WF Banner.
At least it is right now....

Another is:
www.autolumination.com Tail Light Brake Light Turn Signal LED Bulbs

That's where I bought mine from.
I think I mentioned that in the thread I linked above, but I'm not sure.
Like I said....it's been a while.

Well I got it all apart, and the three auto parts stores near to me don't carry the bulbs. Guess I'll hit a NAPA- or the dealer for these #103 bulbs I have.
Thanks for all the help with taking it apart, made it easy.

Blacktooth I like what u did with the blue lights. I have an 03 and was wondering if changing out the cluster bulbs would also change the color of the digital odometer/trip. Or will it stay the same color seeing as how its digital. Thanks man.
