I can find axle clearance, however i am interested in the distance from the ground to the bottom of the tub under the door? I have searched....nothing!

Not sure why you need this info, but if you are just trying to determine if you're lifted, or how much, just measure your springs...

Tire size will also be a variable.

Very good point. Blond moment there... and lack of coffee... (hey, that's my story and I'm sticking too it)

Thank goodness a MAN piped in with an appropriate response... Thanks Tom!

Well, that's roughly 28x9 but different mfgrs tires run different sizes, so every Jeep will be oh so slightly different... Also added weight and spring sag will affect the measurement. I'm gonna say it's not lifted with those tires, and now I'm curious what difference it makes how far the tub is from the ground on yours verses someone elses? I'm funny like that...

you can contact (email) the Chrysler Corp. and ask for a "build up sheet" . they will need your VIN and some other info. the build up sheet will tell you every thing about your jeep, the way it was stock from the factory.

19 1/4" from the cement to the bottom of the tub on my 2000 stocker with 30" tires. Hope that helps.

I just looked it up and found a picture of a rubicon, stock everything at 19 1/2 inches from tub to level ground.

I've been looking for the same info. I don't know if you need it in NC, but in NJ it determines the total lift you can have on your vehicle. The Rubicon is permitted more space because it came stock with 30" tires and has a higher GWR.

A good thing to have, but it won't tell you how many inches between the tub and the ground.
