How to clean up oxidized paint?

Hello again! What is the best way to get my 2001 Jeep Wrangler Sport shiny again? I just bought her a month ago and the black paint is oxidized.

Thanks!

If you have porter cable random orbital polisher/sander.... Grab some pads and some good polish and go at it. I recommend you visit autopia. I learned everything I know there. They are not expensive and make even waxing soooooo much easier. I bought mine back in 06 when I bought my Mustang. Do a little reading and find what polish is best for your needs. Good luck. You can save your paint it will just take some effort.

If it is pretty dull you can mix fine rubbing compound, polish, and water in a plastic bottle with a small top. mix to a somewhat runny consistency. slop some on and buff with a power buffer, but go easy and keep it moist so you don't burn the paint-or -take off too much (don't push hard), weight of the buffer and keep it moving. Only use slow speed. buffs out the dull stuff and polishes at the same time. I learned this from a detailer at an auto dealer I worked at long ago. There may be something better, just my 2 cents.
