how to install new throttle kickdown cable, connect to transmission?

All-
I broke the throttle kick down cable plastic piece that connects to the throttle linkage. I did a temporary fix with jb weld on the plastice part and it worked for the trail ride we did yesterday.

I have to install the new cable, how do you gain access to the transmission linkage? I climbed underneath for a few momemts, it doesn't look as easy as i thought it would be. Is there access throught the floor panel somewhere? Or do i need to remove something underneath to get access to hook up the linkage to the new cable?

Thanks

i replaced mine had same problem, looks like no way, but was fairly easy, started at the throttle body, weaved the line down under and around the tranny, replaced the sprind and cable at the bottom then hooked up the top, went alot easyer than i thought.

well thats good to hear. I'll get out there and see what I can do. It looks like the tranny end would just 'pop' in place once you find that darn part it attaches to. Thanks for the reply.
