Do you have half doors or full???? Either way remove the door panel and if full doors roll the window up and look inside and you will see a saw tooth wedge on both sides of the handle. You will need to take a long flat screw driver and tap those out to release the handle from the door(being very careful not to hit the glass if you have full doors). You can unhook your latch and lock rods before or after but I have found it to be easier to remove after but safer to remove before removing the wedges.

I have done this before and just set the wedges in where they belong and then used a screw driver from the top to tap them back in and i believe that i had rolled the window down to make it easier.

Thank you, I have the window pulled out along with everything with the exception of the actual latch inside the door due to getting it painted real soon.
