How to straighten a dented tailgate

So my jeep got rear ended on the tire by some Asian punk who was texting.. Hit and run. So my tailgate was really dented..


I created this JIG, and it worked awesome. Thought I'd share.. Didn't take a pic of the worst of it.. It made me too angry to take a pic of it

that's crafty, nice fix.




I tried to straighten my dented tailgate out but I stripped all the bolts in the process so I just gave up on having a normal tailgate

Backed into a tree while off roading. Caught it dead center on the spare. Actually ripped the metal in a few places on the tailgate.. Took the easy way out and found ssomeone parting out a TJ and picked one up for a decent price.

Drill and tap them a size bigger.

They make a nutsert gun at harbor freight, 7 dollars and you could Insert a nut that is threaded
