How to tell if a Body Lift is already installed?

Hi All,
I purchased a 1999 wrangler Sport, with 100k miles on the clock, 2 weeks ago. So, far, I've just been tuning her up(Fluids, plugs, wires, cap and rotor). The Jeep has 31's on right now and rubs a bit on the lower suspension arms at full lock, but seems to clear them fine otherwise. Granted, it hasn't been offroad yet and I have no idea what my clearance will be like when the suspension is stretched a bit. So, How can I confirm if the Jeep has already had a body and or suspension lift?

On another note, after changing the oil to Mobil 1 synthetic(10w-30) I've noticed a rattling sound coming from the engine bay. It's mostly obvious at idle, but I think this is due to fan/engine noise at higher RPM's. Any ideas what it might be?

Go to rear wheel well. If there is NO space between inner fender plastic cover thing and frame of jeep you don't have one. If there is space, as in 1" or more, then you have a body lift.

look underneath the door. Does it have a plastic like puck over the frame brackets?

Take a picture of it and we will tell you if its yes or no.
