Howling noise

I have a 2002 sport 45000, 4.0 and I am getting a howling or whistling noise coming from under the hood any ideas? thanks for the input.

Do you have a stock intake on it? If you have a cold air intake it will howl. If it is stock then you might have a damaged air tube from the Throttle body to the filter houseing. Might even be something as simple as your airfilter houseing not sealed all the way down. Depending on how loud it is you might also have a vacumn line leak. Hope it helps some.

My cold air intake is pretty noisy (whistling) when I first start it up. It goes away after it warms up.

It is Friday, October 13. You sure you didn't hit a werewolf and he's stuck in the drive belts?
