HVAC wont shut off

Yesterday on my way to Colorado to trail, had my AC on. I went to turn the fan speed to low and it stayed on hi. So I went to shut the AC off and it ended up blowing through the defrost vent. Basically the fan is running on hi ALL the time. I put the selector on off but still runs. Any ideas? I checked the resistor on the pass side and it looked OK. I pulled the fuse just so it'll shut off.

Guess I should've said the resistor looks fine but no way to actually test it. Plus I for a short time the air bag and brake light came on. Did think of it til now but at that moment the fan blower wasn't working.I shut the jeep off and restarted it. The lights went off and blower came back on.

Ended up being the fan spped switch. I've never had one do that. Its either been high only or low speeds. But thanks for the input. Was cheaper too.
