I lose power for just a sec. and a big cuchunk feel in my engine

I have a 2006 Jeep Wrangler X v6 AUTOMATIC. It has been doing the following for a while, off and on, Cold or warm engine, color or warm day. I thought it was the gas, when it was at the bottom of the tank because I have also been having problems with gas spewing out when I fill up. Pump never cuts off when full.

Do you know what's up with that?

Now the big issue I started off with.... When going into 2nd, I loose power for just a sec. and a big cuchunk feel in my engine. If sounds and feels really bad. Sometimes worse than other times. It also feel it when coming to a stop. I also have noticed a loss in power going 55-60 or more when I press the gas to excellerate.Even up a hill, I use to be able to step on it and it would take off. No A/C or Heat on at this time to take the power away.

Any advice on these 2 questions would greatly be appreciated.

Have you tried a different gas station or anything like that recently? Certain brands are just like that in some vehicles.
