They are everywhere. just sell all the crap you don't need (anything that belongs to your wife or girlfriend, or both) and go buy one.

from what I hear, you can't be picky. I got lucky and found the exact one I wanted the first one I looked at! sorry if dampened your spirits lol

I ended up buying the second one I looked at. Good old craigslist saved me a bunch of time.

I looked for a couple months before getting mine and I always had to travel on the weekends to look at Jeeps over an hour away. I am glad I waited and found exactly what I wanted. Do the same and you will be happier in the long run.

It took me over a year to find a good jeep at a good price. All I wanted was a 4.0 or v6, 2 door with low miles. Not very picky. I drove TJ's, YJ's, even XJ's and a Waggy. After 1 year of this, I bought a beautiful 2 door JK with 17,000 miles. Turns out the owner's girlfriend got pregnant and needed to sell it fast. I took it the day I saw it.

That was back in January. I'm still happy with my Jeep. I almost bought a TJ manual on 33's, an 07 Rubicon, and a TJ that sat in a garage since 1999. I bought a stock X JK over all of those. I still have no regrets. A XHD front bumper, lift, and 35" tires later I still don't see the regrets ever coming.

The moral of my little story here is don't get anxious. Take you're time, and shop around. It's one thing regretting mods or tires, it's another regretting the jeep itself. You'll get a good one. Just exercise patience. It'll come.
