Ignition actuator pin *please help*

So... As with a lot of other Jeepers my ignition actuator pin broke off in the usual spot, so I ordered a new pin assembly and a new ignition module and installed. It cycled through and functioned fine (so I thought). I drive to fuel up and go for a long over due cruise, I get to the station and the key wouldn't cycle into the off position so I drive home to investigate. It seems as if the brass pin is hanging / jamming with the plastic piece and preventing it from functioning properly, any tips, advice or experiences would greatly be appreciated. It's nice out and I'm itching to go for a cruise and find some trails to hit... Thanks in advance.
- Justin

Sorry, hard to explain. The long white plastic pin that pushes into the module is catching on the brass piece when it turns.

Ignition issue

This is a different issue but that plastic rod can hang up. I’m not sure that will keep it from turning to the off position though.

All I can recommend is to take it apart and carefully put it back together again. I was having problems when I assembled mine first time. Second time I had to turn the key then bump the left side of the steering column with my palm to get it started. Worked like that for about a month before I replace the clutch and cylinder, then like magic it started working normal again.

Thanks for the replies, I took it apart and put it back together a few times and now it's gone an entire day without malfunctioning. It's weird, but at least it's working now.
