Ignition key is really tight to pull out

My Wife used that graphite stuff on it and it is better but still really hard to pull the key out. I was thinking maybe some WD-40 but I wasn't sure how that would react with the graphite. Any other suggestions?
Thx,
Bob

Don't use WD40. It will attract dirt. Inspect the key closely for any nicks or burrs. If you have a second key, does it do the same thing?

I love the easy answers. When I first got the Jeep I noticed the original key was a little bent and I did get a second key and thought I had switched keys. I looked at the key in my pocket yesterday and it was a little bent just like the original but when I checked the spare it was in perfect condition and works perfect. So apparently I hadn't switched keys.
Thanks
Bob
