If it starts right up if it's only been sitting a few minutes but takes a long time to start if it's been sitting several hours, it's a leaky anti-drainback valve that is located inside the pressure regulator that sits on top of the fuel pump inside the gas tank. You can get to it from the top of the gas tank but you have to drop the tank. When that valve leaks, it allows all the gasoline that is supposed to stay put inside the fuel rail next to the fuel injectors to drain all the way back down to the fuel tank. The delay in starting is how long it takes for the gas to make its way back up to the fuel injectors from the fuel tank.
