Inner/Outer Axle Housing Sleeve Kit

I just ran across these and wondered if anyone has seen them or better yet has them? Any opinions?

Results for Drivetrain

They have the bombshell kit which includes inner and outer housing kits, or they can be purchased seperately. They just go inside and outside your axle tubes on both sides of the pumpkin and have to be welded on as is my understanding

Any real benefits? I dont really believe in the 55% strength gain, i guess just in the tube strength, but will it actually help overall?

one of the guys working at a local shop was telling me about sleeving the d44 on TJs and the newer JKs. He was telling me about just sleeving the outside with holes for plug welds. It wasn't a kit but just some trick guys do to beef up their axles. Makes it super strong, then I could go to the dunes and catch some real air! I'd almost prefer just a simple truss though. I'd be worried the plugg welds would break loose and the axle would spin freely inside the sleeving. lol.

It's a good idea in my opinion. I'm trying to find the exact right tube for my 44 to just give enough room for the shaft to spin. I've bent enough of the TJ housings to know that something needs to be done. The JK is the same just wider so they also have a tendancy to bend the inner c also.

Thanks that is what i was looking for, im not really sure i understand the whole drilling into the axle and plug welds like they have in their install instructions, maybe im just not seeing it right in my head. I will probably just go for the traditional truss
