If I'm installing a new winch on a stock bumper 2002 wrangler TJ. What additional accessories will I need to order so I'll have everything before I get started?

All you need is a mounting plate. The winch bolts to the mounting plate and the mounting plate is then bolted to the frame by bolts that pass through the bumper into the frame underneath it. Plus if the solenoid box is separate, you'll need to figure out a place to mount it to. That's why I prefer winches with integrated solenoid enclosures, they are easier and faster to install.

If you intend to mount the solenoid outside with the winch you can order the bracket for solenoid mounting it's like $11.95 in the Quadratec Catalog,You could always make one but for the $ it's easier just to buy one,Just curious where are you in Western N.C.? We visit Franklin frequently

This is CaveDiver's Jeep. I just saw it in a different thread. It clearly shows the winch plate between the bumper adn the winch. It also shows the fairlead, which you may also need to get. That's the silver bit there -- it controls the angle of the wire when it leaves the winch.

I'm curious about this also - this may be a dumb question, but...

Do you have to drill through the bumper and frame to attach the winch plate, or are there existing holes. I think my bumper has a decorative plastic piece right about where that winch plate is located, I suppose I'd remove that too.

All holes are there just remove plastic. I also would get some anti seize on the bolts and also if the winch power cables will rub on frame as you run the lines, I would rap them in some gaffers or duct tape at that location.
