Instrument Cluster Problems....

So I changed the oil. Changed the Tranny with M1 10w30. Took it down the road for a quick check. It is late at night, half way down the road my dash lights go out. Make it back to the house and check the rest. So here is where I am currently, Headlights work (hi and low) brake lights four ways radio interior dome light. What doesn't work- dash lights turn signals....any help would be greatly appreciated...I have checked fuses and relays...none are blown....

Make sure your key is in all the way. Sometimes my ignition key will work its way out a little and I will lose my turn signals and radio. If the key is seated correctly, it probably has something to do with the internals of the keys ignition. Also try turn the key around, your key maybe really worn.

Quick update...I troubleshot a lot of things. Discovered that the culprit is the headlight switch. If I pulled the knob out slowly the dash lights come on.

May not be the switch - I had the same problem with my 97 - dash lights only came on when the switch wasn't pulled all the way out - ended up being a fuse (can't remember which one).
