Interior Lights stay On!! Suggestions??

Earlier this year my interior lights (dome and floor board) began flickering on and off, especially when I was going over rough terrain, now the lights stay on all the time. I ended up pulling the bulbs to prevent the battery from running down.

I can't help but to think the flickering (when going over bumps) and subsequent perpetual staying "ON" has to do with a loose connection or a rogue wire. Just wondering where I can and should begin looking for a solution.

ANY SUGGESTIONS?? Please help!

There's a bypass switch you can order from that disengages the lights but it is meant for when the doors are off. The install instructions will tell you were the wires and relay are located to see if they are damaged.

You can pull the #4 fuse behind the glove box and your lights will still function by using the stem to turn them on and off manually.

X3 on pull the fuse. if you decide to install a switch, just buy the stuff @ radioshack. you won't spend more than 8 bucks for everything you need....

might try spraying contact cleaner(not for contact lenses, for electrical contacts ) inside the door switches.

Well all I appreciate the feedback. I wanted to be able to have the lights function properly and I was tired of using a flashlight at night when looking for something.

I found the problem the driver side door stem was shorting out and causing the lights to stay on. I guess enough time and dumb luck was all I needed. Thanks!
