Is flowmaster 44 muffler reversible

Does it matter which side faces up or down of the muffler? As long as the cat and tailpipe match up. Are these a reversible muffler per say?

Thanks

Doesn't matter if it's facing up or down. Just as long as everything lines up and have your exhaust going into the inlet and coming out if the outlet of the muffler.

Just make sure the inlet is the inlet. The chambers inside are designed take exhaust in one direction only. Other than that I don't think there's an 'upside down'
