Is it junk?

I was thinking of buying a Best top brand tire carrier, the kind that swings with the tailgate and wanted some input. I don't want to spend the money on it if it is still going to bend my tailgate with a 33/12.50/15 on it. I like the design though.

Are you talking about the stock-like one that is just bigger and attaches to the tailgate?
If so you may still have some problems if you bounce around alot, tires are heavy and those doors can't take a whole lot of stress.

if you are thinking of the High Rock Oversize tire carrier; then that is what I have and absolutely love it! Beefy as all get-out and the installation wasn't too difficult..

It attaches to existing hardware on the tailgate, but doesn't actually place any load on the tail gate itself.. It actually mounts to the body on the lower portion and the roll bar on the upper portion..

Worth every penny in my opinion..

It's one of our most popular accessory products. A 33" tire will work perfectly on it, and you should be happy. I'd say more, but Timberman did a nice review, and you'll trust his word more than mine

When you move up to those 52 inch tires, you might need some reinforcing. What do those guys do when they get a flat? Rent a crane?

If you haven't gotten more out of the insurance company than you deserve, then you haven't screwed them nearly as much as they have been screwing you for the past xx years.

For the past few years I've been doing the Breakfast of Ex Champions. Wheaties with beer.

That may be just a part of the problem.

Discount! dIsCoUnT?!

No. We don't sell direct, so all the pricing goes through one of our vendors.
