Is this bearing bad?

Tj rear dana 44 non c clip. Took the drums off to check the bearings and had just a little play when pulling out on the shaft. Nothing major but just to check I pulled the shaft. Here's a pic of the bearings. I can't see or feel any pitting on them but I was told they shouldn't have any play. Any opinion?

Picture 2, the bearing roller all the way on the lef looks like it may be pitted. If it is pitted it is bad.

I'd just go ahead & replace them since you have the axles out already, then you know they're good.

What does the bearing race look like? I dunno that the roller bearings themselves look bad but that's tough to know for sure without being there to look at them and feel how they move.
