Is this plug for adding cruise control?

I found this plug under my hood today. Is it for adding cruise control? If so where can I buy a kit to add it?

That's it. You don't need a kit, since you are already wired. Just buy the missing parts: switches, actuator, cable, vacuum line and bracket.

Is your jeep standard or automatic? Just curious as I may want to add CC to my jeep some day.

Cool, when you do find all the parts, would it be too much to ask that you post where you got them and prices? Would be very helpful to those looking at doing the same...

I'd love to. Hopefully I will be able to track them down.

I got mine from an online Mopar dealer. But that was several years ago.

Jeepsareus.com usually has the kits, but at inflated prices. I paid about $125 for everything. Took about an hour to install.

Just checked Moparpartsamerica. Looks like everything is still available, but the current cost is more like $250.

I found the part numbers on jeepforum and I have been looking around for the lowest price. I may just go to the junk yard and see if I can pull the switches at least.

I found everything I need for $260 shipped. That might be the best price I can get.

I also ordered this.

What else do I need? Just the wiring correct?

Where'd you find that plug? I'd like to eventually get cruise control in mine and I'm wondering if I've got the same plug in my TJ.

The plug is on the driver side. Near the motor mount.

I'm surprised the Rubi didn't come with cruise.

That was for new parts. I found all of the used parts on ebay for ~$50.
