Jeep 1997 4 cyl

Hello, just changed the water pump and thermostat. The idle is now way high, any ideas?

Around 2400. It's funny when it is cold it is normal only after it heats up then it goes up. I unhooked the battery last night, and going to check the temp sensor today.
