Jeep fender question

Not sure if i am posting this in the correct place, I am new here. i am going to buy a jeep in the near future and have a question. I am not sure what year model of wrangler i want. i would like a brand new one but i am not sure i like the way the new ones look as compared to the old. Mostly it is the fender desighn. The new ones look like they are solid plastic, and there is no light in them. I like the older style that had plastic trim with the metal frame and square light. My question is what was the last year model that has the fender style with the light in it? I think it may be the 07 models but not sure??/ Thanks!

97-06 have the square turn signal light.
07-present have the full plastic fender with a round light on the side.

Thanks for the welcolm and replies. I think the TJ is the style that I like best. Is there a web page i can go to that shows all the models and differances in the jeep? From what I just went and looked at, i think the exact jeep i am looking for is a 06 TJ Wrangler Rubicon. Only problem with that is finding one with realy low miles. So I may have to give up the turn signal light on the fender look that i like so much, and opt for a newer model with just the solid plastic. That is the only thing i dont like about the new models, i dont know why but it just seems cheaper, or like a downgrade to me. I guess the solid plastic fender would be a pluss if you were into rock crawling and such. Does any of the new models have metal fenders in the new style?

I have seen another plastic fender flare I like, i think they are called bush wacker but not sure. They have the large screw hole ports in the side, and the slope away from the body at an angle. I realy like the look of these, if you know what type they are, do you know if those fenders fit like the 09 ot 10 year model wranglers?
